PacNet have rerouted traffic via an alternate path and as a result, latency
in and out of Thailand have normalized as of 14th Mar 2008 - 18:00 Hrs SGT.

Details :
PacNet has identified connectivity issues to and from Thailand starting
from 6th Mar 2008 - 13:05 Hrs SGT as a result of a sub-sea cable cut.
We have been informed by the cable operators that repair works is
expected to be completed by 21st Mar 2008, subject to weather conditions.
Customers may experience higher than normal latency until the primary
link is restored.

PacNet has identified connectivity issues to and from Thailand starting
from 6th Mar 2008 - 13:05 Hrs SGT as a result of a sub-sea cable cut.
We have taken action to re-route the Internet traffic to our redundant
Internet links. Customers may experience higher than normal latency
until the original link is restored. We are currently making arrangements
in Thailand to secure additional bandwidth to improve the latency in
and out of Thailand.

PacNet has identified high latancy and packet loss of Internet connectivity
in and out of India and other parts of the world. This is the result of a
sub-sea cable cut of the coast of Egypt.
Our upsteam media providers are working on alternative routes and capacity
to minimize the impact to Internet services.
